“This wasn’t supposed to happen…”
“You won’t believe where they found the body…”
“What if the story is true…”
That’s what that morning felt like.
Because Jesus had been crucified. Buried. Sealed in a tomb.
Death had done what it always does… or so it seemed.
But when they arrived – the stone was rolled away. The tomb was empty. And the body… wasn’t there.
Not because it was moved.
Not because it was taken.
But because He had risen.
Just like He said He would.
This is the center of Easter. Not a tradition. Not just a story.
But the moment sin was defeated. The moment death lost its power. The moment Jesus proved He is exactly who He said He is.
And yes… this really happened then.
But it wasn’t just for them. Because the same question still stands today:
What if it’s true?
What if Jesus really did rise – and what if that means forgiveness is real… freedom is available… and new life is possible for you?
Because we all have “tombs” in our lives.
Places that feel sealed shut. Situations that look final.
Things we’ve buried—pain, guilt, addiction, fear, brokenness—thinking this is just how it is.
But the resurrection tells a different story.
That what looks dead doesn’t have to stay dead.
That what feels sealed isn’t beyond God’s power.
That in Christ, even the heaviest stone can be rolled away.
Because if the tomb is empty… then this isn’t just history.
It’s an invitation.
An invitation to step out of what’s been holding you.
To find freedom from what’s felt final.
To experience life the way it was always meant to be—through Him.
